Overview:
Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is required by The New Zealand Registered Architects Board (NZRAB) for the on-going registration of everyone who practices architecture in New Zealand.
CPD is a system where points are awarded to architects for completing educational activities. The record of points and activities are then used by the NZRAB as part of their assessment in deciding whether individuals can retain their Registered Architect status.
The NZIA is contracted by the NZRAB to maintain a record of activities done by Registered Architects for the purpose of ongoing registration.
